How it works

What makes it different

A lot of what students have to learn is structural. A cycle, a pathway, a chain of cause and effect, a hierarchy of concepts. Written out as prose, the structure is the first thing to go, and reconstructing it in your head every time you revise is work you should not have to keep repeating.

The redraw case is the one people end up using most. Notes taken at speed during a class make sense for about a day. Photograph the page, and what comes back is the same content with the shape restored, which is usually the bit that got lost when you were writing quickly.

This is not a visual-learner-only feature, and it is worth saying plainly. Your VARK profile decides how a lesson is presented by default, but when the subject matter itself has a shape, drawing it is simply the accurate way to show it.

Can it read my own notes?

Yes. Photograph a page, including a hand-drawn sketch or a textbook diagram, and Edapt reads the content and redraws it cleanly. Useful when the notes you took in a hurry are no longer legible to you.

Is a diagram only for visual learners?

No. Some material is genuinely structural, and a diagram is the honest representation of it however you prefer to learn. A cycle drawn as a cycle is clearer than a cycle written as six paragraphs, for everyone.
